The 1st Applied HoloGenomics Conference was successfully held over 3 days in Bilbao, Spain! 130 in person and 90 virtual participants took part in the first conference exploring HoloGenomic Solutions for 21st century challenges.
Organised by the University of the Basque Country on behalf of the HoloFood consortium, the conference had a dynamic line-up of world-experts, diverse themes and the latest in scientific research presented by established as well as early career researchers. The wide variety of topics covered highlighted the multi-disciplinary nature of applied hologenomics.
Stay tuned on our project youtube channel as we upload talks from the conference over the next few weeks! Many thanks to all participants, invited speakers, poster presenters and local organisers!

Final HoloFood training course completed
|
|
The two day training course "Organisation and utilisation of hologenomic datasets" organised by HoloFood partner EMBL-EBI took place in Bilbao, Spain. Participants learned about the generation and application of large-scale holo-omic data sets, such as those produced within the HoloFood project. The programme combined both theory and some hands on exercises as an introduction to this fast evolving field.
Course resources are available for free and online through the link below!
